Students receive their DE-964 certificate during the second week of class, and they must bring it to DPS to receive the learner permit. CONTRACT EXPIRATION - The 9-month contract begins on the first day of class, giving families ample time to complete all required classroom and behind-the-wheel training. All program requirements must be completed by November 6, 2026.
